Private Lessons/ in home training
This option is designed for dog owners who want to actively participate in their dog's training, both at home and in public settings.
Does your dog struggle with welcoming new guests, engage in counter surfing, chew up your shoes, or get into the trash? Do they pull on the leash or display reactivity? If these challenges sound familiar, this could be the ideal solution for you.
We will begin with an in-home evaluation and lesson to kickstart the training process. As we progress, we will venture out to parks, cafes, dog-friendly stores, food truck pods, and wherever you envision being able to bring your well-behaved dog!
These lessons are most effective when conducted on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. You will be given homework to practice between lessons.
Private lessons can also cover other essential skills, including loose leash walking, heeling, recall, house manners, off-leash training, hiking manners, place command, public obedience, and addressing reactivity.
Please note that this option is typically not suitable for dogs exhibiting human or dog aggression. For such cases, a board and train approach, or a hybrid of board and train and private lessons, is recommended. I will consider working with aggressive dogs for private lessons on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the severity of the issue and the owner's commitment to at-home training.

Board and Train
These programs are designed for every dog, from puppyhood to advanced obedience, and address issues such as dog/animal/human aggression. Dogs learn how to relax and how to be handled for grooming or veterinary purposes. They receive safe crate and kennel training, as well as proper socialization around people, dogs, cats, chickens, and other farm animals. We take your dog and teach them sit stays, down stays, place, heel, recall, off-leash obedience, and public obedience, even if dealing with reactive and/or aggressive behaviors.
Throughout the program, you will receive photo and video progress updates. A comprehensive go-home lesson and 2 follow-up lessons are included. If time permits, we also offer a lesson in the middle of the board and train program to facilitate the transition back home.
This program is tailored for dog owners who may not have the time for consistent training and are looking to fast-track their dog's training. It's also suitable for challenging cases involving extreme anxiety, fear, aggression, and more.

Covers basic to advanced obedience skills: sit, down, heel, loose leash walking, recall, place, basic off leash training, public socialization and obedience on public settings, and minor reactivity training.

Puppy Temperament Testing
Are you a breeder or a rescue organization that has a litter of puppies? Are you facing the challenge of determining which puppy should go to which adopter?
I can assist by evaluating the litter and providing recommendations for the most suitable homes for each puppy. You will receive a detailed written report for both your reference and the puppy owners. Additionally, we will document the evaluation process, allowing you to share the assessment with potential adopters.

Structured Boarding
Planning a vacation but hesitant about leaving your dog in a traditional kennel environment? Rest assured, your dog will find a comfortable and nurturing home with me while you're away.
During their stay, your dog will enjoy ample attention, engaging playtime, and enriching activities. Moreover, they'll have the opportunity to practice their obedience skills, engage in structured and safe play sessions, and embark on outings, leisurely walks, and invigorating hikes—all without compromising the progress you've achieved through their training.
As an added bonus, your dog will receive a refreshing bath and a nail trim before heading back home, ensuring they return to you looking and feeling their best.

Day Training
Newly offered! This option is for current clients. Offered at a private residence in Vancouver - 9101 NE 119th St. Vancouver, WA 98662
Available Mondays for now, with possible expansion in the future.
Drop off between 7-9am - Pickup between 4-6pm
Each dog will participate in several one-on-one training sessions with a trainer throughout the day. These sessions cover basic obedience, such as sit, down, recall, and leave it. In between these sessions the dogs will have structured leash walks around the 3.5 acre property to practice leash manners, build environmental confidence, and practice recall on a long-line. They may also be trained to walk on the treadmill, practice “place” on a bed while other dogs work, or come along on a field trip to a pet-friendly store, or a park to practice their manners in public.
The goal of this program is to send home not only a tired dog like many day care programs but also a dog who’s been working to eliminate bad habits while picking up new life skills throughout their day.
The price for this service is $60/day
